About
I joined the Propel Nonprofits team in December of 2019 with years of broad experiences in the Minnesota nonprofit sector. In my early years, I worked with grassroots advocacy/coalition building, community organizing, youth development, social services program management, and managing evaluation and impact. I am invested in community/relationship building and find joy in collaborative efforts rooted in community centric change making. I am committed to disrupting inequity-based systems and contributing to systemic change while leading with intentionality, purpose, and humility.
Volunteer/Board/Organizing Involvement:
When I am not working or volunteering; I am raising my very active 4 sons on the stolen land of Dakota, Anishinaabe, and other Indigenous nations known as Mni Sóta Maḳoce. Our family loves nature, traveling and exploring new hiking trails, lakes, and libraries.
Fun Fact: I would dedicate a travel experience to explore coffee spots (Qhawa/Kahve/Koffie) in a different state or country.
