History
It started with a dream: empowering African American students in Saint Paul through culture, art, technology, and social justice. With a diverse staff and Board of Directors who share experience in youth development, 30K embodies an unwavering dedication to the Saint Paul community—leading our path toward a better tomorrow.
We are in a period of growth. This is centered around funding we have secured to grow our Tech Geeks and alternative learning programs. We have goals to significantly expand the number of youth and families we connect with. We are also in the midst of recruiting an expanded group of corporate partners who provide apprenticeships for our Tech Geek graduates. We recently moved into a new facility near St Paul Johnson Senior High School.
